Approximately 30 OHS alumni returned to the high school to talk with current students about the college experience. The visit took place just before the holiday break and was organized by the School Counseling Department.
Dr. Harrington has posted her monthly video message to the community with a list of upcoming events for students and families.
The grade six Project Extra classes at Schools #5 and #8, under the direction of teachers Kristin Stea (School #5) and Sheila Gunther (School #8), have for the second year in a row been named New York State finalists in the Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition. Schools #5 and #8 are among 300 public schools across the nation selected from among more than 1,000 entrants. Only a handful of the 300 state finalists are elementary schools.
